Be proactive--Identify and address food safety risks in your transportation program and write protocols that prevent them from happening

Train everybody in your company who is, or should be, accountable for doing your best practices.
CARRIERS
Understand the contractual terms that you have agreed to in a written document and make sure you have a plan (also written) to show you are in compliance with your contract.
Document your compliance and keep the records.
